Eighteen dates are set to be announced tomorrow for the tour, which is simply called “Paul Simon & Sting: On Stage Together,” with more to be announced soon.
Beginning in 1986, the Human Rights Concerts toured the globe to raise funds and awareness of Amnesty International. Acts like Bruce Springsteen, Sting, U2, Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant and Jimmy Page and more took the stage to perform for a cause.
The last few months of the year – known in the music industry as “fourth quarter,” or “Q4″ if you’ve into brevity- is when a number of superstar acts release their new albums, in anticipation of the all-important Christmas buying season. Here’s a few releases by legendary artists, as well as a couple who are on their way towards that status.
