Sting To Perform At The GRAMMYS (Again)

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who hasn’t released a new album since 2009′s If On A Winter’s Night…, will hit the stage in a collaborative performance that will feature a pair of hitmakers from a younger generation, Bruno Mars and Rihanna.

Elton John, Eddie Vedder, Jackson Browne, Patti Smith, Neil Young, Tom Morello, Mavis Staples, Sting, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Natalie Maines, Juanes, John Legend, Alabama Shakes, Emmylou Harris, Jim James and Mumford & Sons will all perform Springsteen songs. The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, an avowed Springsteen fan, will host the show.

Andy Summers Will Never Rule Out A Police Reunion

Former Police guitarist Andy Summers will premiere a documentary at the New York Documentary Festival on November 9th. Titled “Can’t Stand Losing You,” the film is based on Summers’ 2006 autobiography “One Train Later: A Memoir” and will take an in-depth look into the Police from the ’70s, ’80s and their reunion tour from 2007-2008.
